I have been with Great Bear for 2 years now and I joined as a shunter but now I am in a training role and have been selected to do all the shunter on site and other locations.I am a fully qualified ITSSAR trainer on the Powered Pallet Truck (PPT), Counterbalance Folk Lift Truck (Single & Double), Ailse Master (Pivot Steer truck) as well as a Manual Handling & Fire Marshall Instructor and I am a site First Aider.I was in the Army for 23 years as Grenadier Guard my role was a communicator in the Signals Platoon, I was trained to driver in the Army both on the road and cross country, I hold full driving licence and have the following categories A,B,C+E & D+E I have a current CPC Card and I also held an ADR licence in all categories in Tanks and other except 7 Nuclear.I am still serving in the Army Reserve.When I left the in 2018 I joined the railway and worked for a company called GB Railfreight as a shunter and I help construct the Elizabeth Line and work at DP World port in Standford-Le-Hope, I work for them for 5 years.
